Easier to admit he’s a transvestite than that he’s having an affair
A cheated wife out for revenge recently put on the Australian eBay website a used condom wrapper (size small) and a pair of lacy black underwear which obviously belonged to her rival and which she’d found at the bottom of her marital bed.
Her husband of 22 years said he’d used the condom to fish his mobile out of the toilet where it had fallen and the lacy underwear was easy to explain since he was a closet transvestite! The excuse did not wash as he’d previously sent her a text by mistake that should have gone to his lover.
It’s all very amusing when you are on the outside. Inside the marriage which is probably a classic example of those marriages that will not die but will never recover, things must have been less than good for some time.
The moment an affair starts it is the culmination of a large number of factors all of which are directly related to the state of the marriage and the health of the relationship of those involved in it. An affair is never a cry for help and it is never intended to be just ‘harmless’ or just ‘fun’ and it never ‘just happens’. These are all excuses trotted out to protect those who do not want to face up to the fact that their relationship should have ended a long time ago or they should have done something about it much, much sooner and now it is way too late.
It’s interesting that the cheating husband in this case found it easier to admit that he was a transvestite to having an affair!
