Is being naughty at Christmas OK?
You know the feeling, the weather sucks, prices are going up, Christmas shopping is all about spending, anxiety and the fact that there is very little time to do anything builds up and before you know it there are also expectations, friends, family….nightmare.
Which sort of begs the question whether it is possible (never mind OK) to be naughty at Christmas. I suppose the correct answer here is why not? Christmas is that time of year when you need to be special, to feel special and to also, perhaps, do special things. More free time, the festive atmosphere, the wine, the chocolates, the fact that we all need to get closer to someone this year, they all help create the sense that Christmas is special in many ways.
All the more reason then to make sure that when the moment comes for the lights to be dimmed a little and the level of intimacy to go up you need to be prepared to up the heat a notch or two. Finding time for the two of you to increase your level of intimacy at Christmas is one of the best ways to make the holiday season, between two people, memorable, fun and completely enjoyable.
Like everything else you want to make memorable this needs a little forward planning which means you need to shop for just the right thing in terms of clothes to wear and just the right underwear for the moment things begin to get hot. Get candles, the right kind of perfume, music and make sure there are no interruptions and you should be set.
Having sex at Christmas adds an extra frisson to the relationship not least because you know the next day you don’t have to get up and rush off to work and it feels like a real holiday. Intimacy during these times has a way of bringing an additional dimension to your relationship irrespective of what stage you are at. If there are no kids involved then the whole day is yours. If the patter of little feet is in the picture you’ll need to be inventive and buy yourself some time.
Either way the point is that you can have an unforgettable Christmas!
